Been away from the layout for a while. I'm finally putting the lights back in my Ameritowne building after it's been sitting on my workbench for weeks and weeks. One step forward, two back. I installed the new light for the loading dock and soldered it in only to find that one of the coach lanterns is toast. It worked last time I checked it. So now I need to order some new lights from Evan Designs before I can move forward

I was hoping to get it back on the layout this weekend. Oh Well......

Paul, Wonderful Steam parade! I only have one steam engine that is from my grandson and it just sits cause I never can get it to run right.

JJWyatt, Nice job on the control panel!

NSRailfan100, WOW! You must have one understanding woman! LOL Looking good and I really liked your video update. One thing though I could barely hear you in the video. I also might have an idea for your lift bridge.

Lancer, Nice engine!

Bob, That really sucks, but it's still a wonderful looking building!

Jstewart204, Now that looks like a fun weekend project!

I haven't been in the train room for awhile but did pick up a new truck for the layout at Walmart for $6. I think it will fit right in. Also today I think I am going to try and figure out what is wrong with the motor in my 182 crane. I will try and get some photos of the truck and a video of my crane when I get my computer fixed! LOL

I hope everyone has a great week and gets time for there layout!

Hi guys I hope you all had a great day on your layout today! I spent some time adding LED lights to a couple building and wiring all 3 in the corner up.

After that I found a nice little ford to go on the back of the hot Rod car hauler.IMG_20200921_140233305

Then while I was under the layout I found these street lights I  am thinking about switching over to LED's! But that will be next weekends project.

I hope this video works as it is the noise my Crane is making!

Everyone have a great week! And find time for your trains and layouts! But most of all have fun!

Pennsynut, thanks it sure is a chore sitting under the layout wiring them in, but I sure like how they look.

John, sure sounds like you have all winter planned! At the rate your going your going to need more passenger cars! LOL

Andy, Wonderful work on the building! I wish I could afford something like that, but then again I also like scratch building what I can!

SuperChief, wow that sure is alot of dirt work! Sure looks good. Makes me feel like I need to get off my rear and get my yard done! Thanks for the motivation!

I ordered my replacement lights from Evan Designs today. They are great folks, gave me the two replacement lights for the dock at no charge.

Lot's of great work being posted. When you get near the bottom of a page on this thread it's too many people to mention each by name, but trust me when I say great job everyone!

Bob

NSRailfan,  just a heads up. I bought a few items from Cabin Fever and thought the shipping charge was odd. I reached out to them for an explanation and there was an error in their system. I received a credit right away. They have a new system and are working out the bugs. If you end up having questions reach out to them, they have been very responsive and good to work with. Jeff

B6s No. 522 pulled the cars to the yard to be switched to businesses or added to other trains.

I have been running MTH Premier Passenger cars (2) and matching MTH baggage mail car as a local commuter. They measure 17 inches. I got a GGD baggage mail car recently for my mail express train. I decided to reassign it to the local but it it's totally out of place dimensionally with the MTH cars. So I substituted three K-line passenger cars (18") that make the train look somewhat better. One coach, a combine and an observation car.  If train shows open up next year I will try to sell the MTH cars and get two more K-line coaches. Looking to get 4 wheel trucks for them as well.

Mike g, nice work with the buildings. When you get a chance to work on the layout you get a lot done.

Mark, you are getting alot accomplished. Looking good.

Johan, always a nice scene to showcase your work. Very nice job on the boxcar. Thanks to you always posting your pics I was finally able to get a State of Main car with Potatoes on the side.

Bob, nice motive power additions to the layout. And the corner has turned out really good.

Yesterday got this in the mail. I lost out on the first one on the B but a few days later another showed up and I got it. Pic........... I have got to get back to working on the layput instead of surfing the net for things to buy. Paul 2

Paul. You're welcome. It’s always a pleasure to post pictures on the O-gauge forum and I really appreciate a lot of all the feedback I get. The BAR car looking so good, State of Maine is a one of the best looking box car ever. 🤝

Johan
