RSJB18 Bob, I thought one was enough.  Once the comment was out there, I couldn't resist adding to it.

Brian, That trailer is even bigger than I first thought!!  Yes, you could build a nice layout in it!!

Elliot,  The layout is looking better and better all the time!

Terry, That scene looks great!!!

I had a couple hours today to do some more on my layout.  I glued down the Homasote I had cut, and also fastened it down with screws.  I also clued down cork roadbed, holding it down to dry with little tacks.  The track is just lying on top to see if I goofed on the curves for the cork.  I got it in the correct positions.

Another AF tinplate zephyr set running again. I had to completely eliminate the

manual reverse and wire around it. Thanks for the help, Mitch, cannot believe

after all these years I could not figure that one out. Good thing cuz I just won another

on the bay today. Couldn't resist, less than 40 bucks for 4 unit train, prewar banked

flyer track, trans, and a couple of accessories, and an extra motor. I still want to try and

remotor one of these to get rid of the steam type wheels. I am looking for Marx postwar E7

diesel motors, but just too expensive. I think it would look a lot better.

P'raps a 666 steam loco motor?  Those are common as dirt.

Wow Elliot the cliff looks great. I have one of those knife saber blades. Never thought of using it for foam.

Personally I prefer a 92 vintage 😁🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷

Bob

Yeah Bob, that blade cuts without tearing. It's beautiful!

I got into a 92 the other day for this project. All the liquid was just about gone, leaving the ochre pigment, which I added to some white primer, to get the bluff color.

God it is gorgeous in Carson City today, sunshine, almost 70. Top down on

the TC, hit a garage sale and bought some funky stuff including this flamigo

paint by number. And I can sit in the Maserati, in the sunshine and  look

up and see all the snow in the sierras, just 2000 feet higher.

Part of what I do every day is search the bay three or four times a day

for new things for my layout.

Yesterday the bay made changes for changes sake to the search. Not good.

It was extremely difficult to search. I am

happy to report that they undid those changes and all is back to normal.

We do Easter at my house, so since this will be the first time my folks have been here since I put the layout up, I did a bit of cleaning. It was cramped in there, so I moved some stuff around, and tried to tidy up.  I'm sure my oldest will want to show Pop the trains. I also wired up the passenger station, and started populating the layout. Now I need to figure out where the yard lights will go, and if I have enough open slots in the WAGO connectors to get them lit.

Elliot, you captured the scene perfectly. Impressive. Mike, framer extraordinaire. Looking good. Mark, you have made good strides. Nice to see a train run. GANDYDANCER, you did a great job on your water tower. As for me I fell behind a bit. Window shade fell apart and I had to run to Lowe's to get a new one. But that worked out I ended up buying a new soldering gun to solder the wires. I also have to change out the one terminal block for a larger one because after drilling the tracks I found I had more leads then I thought. Tomorrow back to wiring. But was able to run an engine further along the track. A plus for the day.............Paul
