Not sure about Cmd, but I would have to imagine the Ctrl V is just referring to the keyboard shortcut for paste (Ctrl-C for Copy, Ctrl-X for Cut, Ctrl-V for Paste).

I was pleasantly surprised when I posted a few screenshots in the Forum upgrade thread that I could just use Ctrl-V to paste the screenshots I did with the "Windows-S" shortcut for copying to a clipboard using MS OneNote.  (I don't use OneNote for anything else, but that shortcut for grabbing screenshots is neat IMO.  I activiate OneNote one time just to make the shortcut work. ).  It was nice to not need to save the image to a location on my PC and then upload it.

Aha!!! That works. Maybe  "Ctrl+V/Cmd+V is just a mis-type because ctrl v and ctrl c work fine.
