What glue to use when putting sitting figures in a passenger car?

Just go with one of the thicker white glues found in arts and crafts stores. Been using different ones for years and with a little warm water you can easily dissolve the glue with no damage. Miketg

I rarely if ever take passengers out after I get them in. Some passenger cars can be a real PITA to pull apart but if you want to remove them this works well.  Basically  the same idea of a thick white glue. 

Can't think of ANY reason to remove them once in place!!! Like Chris says, some of those Passenger cars can be a REAL PITA to get apart !!! I use "Goop"!

If I was gonna it would be silicone. Clear and peels right off.

Just a very small dab of silicone works great and is easy to remove from both the passengers and the seat.

I use Gorilla glue as sitting passengers to me are permanent residents in my cars. I have seen weaker glues give out, and I had to open the car back up and fix them.

Try Fusion. It is a lower tack glue that is similar to clear silicone, but comes right off and is flexible. I use it to repair box flaps and on trains. It works great with no damage.

Agreed.  I haven't yet started populating my passenger cars, but I've installed engineer and fireman figures in several steam locomotives.  Clear silicone works for me.

I use LOCTITE All Purpose Go 2 glue. Easy to apply and dries clear.

I had to move about 100 hand-painted figures from a older passenger set I no longer wanted to a new set. Lucky for me I was able to snap them off the old glue. So, it MIGHT happen.

Just received the RailKing Circus passenger cars (cars have never been run and are new).
The cars/engine are in the 2007 catalog.

Instruction state on how to replace the car’s interior bulb from removing the screws on the bottom and then shell pops off.
 Do not know if the interior seating stays on the frame or remains in the body/shell. Hopefully it is an easy access to the interior sitting.

Noticed that on eBay that a seller from china is selling seated painted figures in quantity. Figures do not have to be super detailed, just hope I can find a O gauge scale Clown to put in the Vista Dome.

This is my first modern type O gauge train with the electronics, been with prewar.

Ordered a new battery, battery charger, battery eliminator (from Gunrunner and want to see how this works), MTH z-1000 transformer. Looking to run this in conventional mode first, any suggestions?

Super Glue. 

I use Clear silicone caulking and buy a tube and use most of it to seal cracks around your house like around the windows or where ever.

Try Museum Wax - available on Amazon.

It will hold the figures in place and let you remove them later on if you want. It is made for that purpose.

I use loctite gel formula superglue. First use a flush cutting nipper to flatten the backs and seating areas of the passengers. It's easy because they are made of flexible vinyl or rubber. 

If these are the ones from  China that are sold in bulk,  you will also have to cut down their  leggs so they can fit in the seats.

Don't use glue of any kind. Use tacky wax. Sticky and easy to remove. Found in hobby stores like Michaels on on like eBay etc.

Legless riders in the coaches should not be a problem, may have to get something better for the Vista Dome as you may be able to see there feet, 

MTH Railking passenger cars may have additional screws holding interior to the body shell.  4 screws on bottom release the body shell assembly from the frame.
