....I posted about dent removal on a Hafner tender....guess there was no rush to miss supper. Smaller and smaller hammers are taking the dent out and in a couple months from now, should be good as new!

Taking a break from the Hafner blacksmith shop and cleaning a Hafner caboose. Old t-shirt and turtle wax and it is slowly coming around. I am impressed by the details.....the fake glazing is different on all the "windows"....there are even fake trucks cut into the tin.

It is related that the Hafner 1010 loco is named after their manufacturing address on North Kolmar. Would any of the members know how the various cars happened upon their monikers? This caboose is 614333...IMG_20160718_195804
