What's your worst locomotive?

Problem was, the tether kept disconnecting. Worst time was in my longest tunnel. Had a heck of a time getting it out. I tried a number of potential solutions, but none worked for long. Look at the bottom of the engine where the frame meets the shell at the back of the cab. Do you see a space between the connector and the shell? If so you can oval out the engine connector screw holes so it can be moved as close to the shell as possible and also if you add shoulder screws, the connector can swivel some.

Mine makes a lot of gear noise, also has a bit of a hitch at lower speeds, might be the smoke unit piston binding?
