I saw this concert in CT either shortly before this or after this performance.
So setting up my playlist for today, I have Jeff Porcaro, most famously known as a member of the band Toto, everyone knows Toto. Jeff also happened to be an acclaimed session drummer, playing on literally dozens of top albums and songs.
So he played on a track from Warren Zevon called Night Time In the Switching Yard from Excitable Boy. A decent train song, but no Lee Hoo Fooks
Unfortunately, Jeff passed away in 1992 at 38.
Another little-known fact, he turned down a million dollars to tour with Bruce Springsteen, having played on the album Human Touch.
