Elliot - This is one of the most interesting topics ever to come around the bend here on the OGR forum.  Absolutely fascinating.  Thank you for taking the time to create those postings.

Pete

I absolutely totally agree.

I 3rd the motion.

Eliot, thank you very much for telling your story. I really enjoyed reading it. I watched the TM video about a dozen times starting when I got back into the hobby in the late 90’s. I am glad I didn’t plan a visit since by the time I found out enterTrainment you were already gone. I am sure it would have been awesome to see. I have been following the thread on your layout and at some point in the last 5 years I had a good feeling that you were the guy from the TM  Video but I didn’t know for certain. I am glad some videos of it exist. Thanks again for posting this.

Elliot, that was truly a fascinating history of all of your endeavors. It actually puts your current modeling efforts in much more perspective. Thank you for sharing.

I clicked on this thread since I saw the name enterTRAINment as I live in Ohio not far from the the G-scale layout known as ENTERTRAINMENT Junction. I have gone several times and have enjoyed it each time. Someone asked if it was still open and it is. Seems that their layout was built a lot by volunteers, many train folk around the Cincinnati area and surrounding area. This facility is actually located in  West Chester, Ohio. Here is a web site and check out the video. http://entertrainmentjunction.com This layout starts out from early years of railroading and then progresses through all of the eras up to present day. It is very well done and worth a stop. It reminds me a lot of many of our forum member's O-Gauge layouts.

Thank you Elliot. I wondered frequently about your setup. I visited 2 - 3 times after you opened. You had a great display. It reignited my desire for running my childhood trains and started my visits to train shows and hobby shops in the TC area, III rail and others. I had about 20 cars and 2 engines when I started and now have over 200. It takes about 2 - 3 hours to cover each level. Traffic petered out by the time they got to your level unless it was a planned visit. Glad you're still around.
