Where to buy or how to make turntable details | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I ordered a 30" turntable from a forum member. He builds them without details no sides on the table no decking no (not sure what it's called- the metal cage where electric comes in) no operating cab. Does anyone sell these details in custom sizes or can anyone suggest how to make the girder and metal cage?

You may try CSX Al at Millhouse River Studio.

Besides the parts mentioned in the above link, they may have for sale more of the fine parts they offer with their turntables. Give Al a call; he is a great guy with whom to deal.

Some of the old magazine, MR, RMC, Mainline Modeler, etc., might have plans. I know one does for an "armstrong" turntable, which is what I will build a couple of.
