Which MTH Union Pacific Streamlined passenger sets came with Gray trucks? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Need some help, a friends wife wants to get a set for her husband and I can't tell what sets have gray trucks vs silver. Thank you!

I recently picked up the 5 and 2 car Madison cars

They are very nice cars with silver trucks

I'm no authority on this subject, but I am not aware of any MTH UP streamlined passenger car sets produced with gray trucks. The only such cars with gray trucks I know of are those produced years ago by K line. I believe they offered 15", 18", and 21" length cars.

For sure the City of San Francisco and City of Los Angeles sets did, just hoping there was a newer set with figures and upgraded diaphragms.

I can't even begin to guess why MTH insists on lettering these cars Union Pacific rather than the Milwaukee Road though.

Off hand am not aware of any MTH Premier UP streamline passenger cars not produced with anything but silver trucks. I have a 5-car and 2-car ad on sets from early 2000's and all three versions of the "flag" baggage cars which have the same matching silver trucks.
