Very nice engine!

Beware Dura stink batteries. We got rid of ours due to leaks. Ever Ready seems to be an excellent replacement.

I watched this morning before leaving for work.  Nice engine for the time.  Any idea why the sound drops out?  I know you mentioned it did but didn't know if you had a suspect?  Maybe a Bigfeet chewed a cable.

BILL, yes I will be changing that battery, need to get a BUNNY!

MARTYE, yes I do think it might be dirty wheels or track.  BIG FEET ado have a tendency to chew on things here.  Might be some PESKY ALIENS shooting photons at the track too.  Might have to get CHESTER and NOSMO to check things out…..

  One thing I forgot to mention in the video was if you own one of these engines and haven’t used it in a while, take the time to open it up and look at the grease.  My grease was white and hard.  Took about an hour to get all the old stuff out and degrease it adding new red and tacky grease.  It did make a difference in the running of this engine.  I also did drill out the puffer smoke unit and added new packing in the bowl, and take off the sock around the resistor.  Still using the 27 ohm resistor, looking for a 20 ohm one.
