Forty seven years ago (1976) I lost my Lionel train collection in a divorce. I got my first train in 1952, a 671RR set. Over the years I had kept acquiring and there were a lot of trains in Michigan in the 70's. Well, yesterday it reappeared. My son went to Michigan, picked it up and brought it here (south Texas). It was apparently a gift to him from his mother.
Over the years I have purchased a lot of MTH, Weaver, Williams and currently K-Line but it will be nice to see the old collection again.
Life is indeed strange.
