OK, OK I'm older then most of you but the two crossing signals I remember the most where crossing gates and wig wags. They mades scale crossing gates with sound at one time. Ross I don't think made them but they were sold by them. Brass, slow moving, scale with bell sound. I was lucky enough to get four sets of the crossing gates and I know the wig wags would be a challenge but it could be done. Why don't they make these wonderful crossing signals? This is a shot of two layout back with the crossing gate. They were turned off when I shot this but the lights do blink off and on, right left. In Richmond Ca. they were going to pull some of the last wig wags out and the town said NO! They loved then in the middle of town. They are there to this day and working on the UP. The video is different type of wig wags when the line was still Santa Fe. Donscossing gates2b965219fb1db7d67bb2a89bbbe19f78

scossing gatesMTH-30-11012-gate-FI have seen Z stuff and had at one time MTH crossing gates. Both companies made nice ones but neither is real scale. The WigWag moves way to fast. I have a non-operating metal scale WigWag and it looks right to me. Also I like the gates to have their equipment under the table. Maybe I'm asking a lot but that's what I wish for. Don

Ricko, the NJI signals look like mine. I have seem them in stores and assumed they were made by the same company. Under the table is a different animal. Mine have a brass wheel attached to brass gears and a large motor. Also there is a board for wiring and speaker for the bell sounds. I think the ones you are talking about look great and when attached to a Tortoise motor should work slow and look very good. Nice find. Don
