Williams Hudson with TA Studio boards installed

I have a customer that brought in a Williams Hudson that had TMCC installed by Train America Studios. When it's on the track, the sound fire up as soon as power is applied to the track. It seem like it doesn't seem to understand that it is running in TMCC. When I disconnect the TMCC from the track, it won't run in conventional mode either. I've checked all the boards with a lionel tester, and they all seem to be working.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

If it doesn't run in conventional, maybe the TAS board is cooked. I've had to replace the drivers on several of them...

First thing I'd do is to make sure the antenna is connected, it connects through the TAS motherboard. Is this the plain TMCC board or the one with cruise?

Next, I think I'd take the two sound boards off and try to run it without sound.

Do you have the TAS manuals to check the connections? If not, I have them all in PDF form.
