Dear modelers,

I'm coming up with a much faster technique regarding the foliage of my recent wire tree project. The secret ingredient is ready to use bush material by Dioramapresepe. Here's a video:

The bark is made of coffee powder. That tree is good for HO or O scale as well, I made it a bit small just to give the technique a try but it will certainly find it's way on my layout. Building time was one hour "hands on". I'm sure I can make these even faster when working in dozens.

Sarah - nice modeling as usual.  Got to ask, did you use fresh ground coffee or did you recover the used coffee grounds for the bark. And what grind setting - if you grind whole bean?

I used used grounds to see how it would look as "dirt". Took a few days for the smell to dissipate.

Thanks Jeff,

I just used readymade powder from the pack, just the one I have everyday for breakfast. The tree really stopped smelling after the thinned oil color treatment, maybe the turpentine did that.
