Wiring Lionel Plug N Play Loggers Cabin with sounds

I want to use a push button on my Fascia to activate the sound. I know I can wire directly to transformer but my questions are:

1. Can I just put a monetary push button in line with the red or black wire?

2. I will have to hold the button in as long as it plays or it will stop so If I let go early will it start again at the beginning the next time?

3. Any body have any idea on button I should use and where to get it?
