A return of F40s. New liveries like (NJ Transit, Metro-North, Grand Canyon RR, Rio Grand Ski Train, Coaster, Metra, MBTA) and many others would be surefire sellers............... If only acquiring the logo licensing could be as easy as rattling off ideas...

I'm in for a return of the Legacy Moguls. A legacy Strasburg 89 would be awesome.

These items don't require toolings to be made from the ground up, so I think these could be more probable than let's say an "acs-64"

The F40s will be coming soon. Ryan said this in the latest catalog show.

Re-run of the Legacy Berkshires.

A NYC Mercury would be cool.

Some smaller/earlier engines, like a 2-8-0, 4-8-0, or Decapod.

I saw a picture of some N&W F-units (ABA) for sale online that took me by surprise; I thought N&W never bought them. They had a blue/yellow color scheme (same colors as N&W GP7s). No idea the history behind them but models of those would be interesting. Also pretty much anything N&W.

A Legacy module or adapter that can interface with Bluetooth, so we can control LionChief and LionChief Plus (with electro coupler functionality) trains. Maybe something like the Legacy PowerMaster, which allows the Legacy remote to control conventional engines.

A Legacy or LionChief 2.0 conversion/upgrade kit. I can dream!

Wow! Such great ideas. Here's a few of mine:

-Vision Line Wabtec Battery Electric Loco and BNSF ET44C4 set and some modern freight cars

-Vision SD70ACe-T4s

-ET44ACs

-Vision Siemens Chargers and matching passenger car sets

-Vision Triplex

-ATSF/BNSF SD75M/I

-Fastrack Turntable

-Fastrack 2-track truss bridge

-More accessories w/ Command-Control or Bluetooth

-Legacy-controlled scale Intermodal Crane

-Vision Modern Reefers, Boxcars, and Tank Cars

-TankTrain Cars w/ Sounds

-F45/FP45 Locos

-The AEC Geep is a great idea. I also want the Phantom locos and passenger cars. Maybe the Phantom locos could have separate-sale freight sets that match the locos.

-Fastrack Bascule Bridge (1 and 2 tracks) based on the truss bridge design

-ATSF Super Chief and El Capitan passenger sets

I was thinking of that too. It’s time for a LC2.0 reissue of the Phantom locomotives. Perhaps in black.

I'm not much of a joiner in these frequent "what should they make" threads. The list of locos are endless and, unfortunately, the vast majority never see the light of day.  But I do like the idea that's been mentioned several times about Lionel producing some fun accessories. Seems like a great untapped area especially in the category of Postwar remakes. How about it, Lionel?

SIRT, please put your comments outside of my quote box.

Just an FYI and something I would like to be fixed.  When using an iPad to reply while quoting a previous post, if anything is changed inside the quote (for example, text and pictures are deleted), I have found it impossible to get the cursor back out of the quote box.  I have had to cancel reply’s and make certain to type my reply before deleting anything from the quote box.  Maybe this is what happened with SIRT’s reply.
