I am looking for an American Flyer All Aboard Set, in very good/excellent condition with the original box.

I want to set up a small second layout so I can run my American Flyer sets that I got as a kid.

So, if you have one and are willing to sell it, rest assured it will go to a good home.

Just remember that the All Aboard sets used pikemaster track that uses tight 15" radius curves. If your older sets have larger sized engines they may not run properly on that track. AF engines used 20" radius tubular track. Some smaller sized engines may be able to handle the 15" radius track. An AF Hudson (4-6-4) could maybe handle it but a Northern (4-8-4) would not.

Yes, I realize the All Aboard sets use Pikemaster track and the radius is different than the tubular track.

i remember in the early 1960s, I wanted a particular Lionel set (can’t remember which one) for Christmas.   Money was tight in our family, so I asked my aunt.  Well, I didn’t realize at the time, but money was tight for them also.  Anyway, my aunt ended up giving me a low end American Flyer (came with Pikemaster track) set for Christmas that year.   I remember being disappointed when I opened the gift, and I still fell bad about that.  I still have the set and cherish it.
