Santa would like to bring a Lionel celebration series set for my son this year. I'm keeping my options open and preferably a set with operating cars that he will enjoy to run. I really like the 736 Berk Set or the 746, either way a lightly used and not abused set would be great. I'm open to anything that strikes my interest, thanks for looking.

Based on your photos and description...what you really want are the Conventional Classics sets....not the Celebration Series.

Keep in mind that the Postwar Celebration series sets include engines with Command Control and RailSounds, whereas the Conventional Classics series don't. For long-term enjoyment (for both of you), you might want to look at the Postwar Celebration series items. Command Control (TMCC remote control) and RailSounds add a lot.
