Does anyone have the Metalcraft Spirit of St. Louis Airplane and Hangar they are willing to sell? Actually, I am interested in finding a vintage metal airplane hangar for the layout.
As a child, I remember that old airplane hangers were or looked like quanset hut, round on the top, you should be able to build one of these, no overhead doors, most likely no doors if it was a small airport. Jack tylenda
Your the first person that I have met that actually knows what I am looking for, let alone played with one. When I go to the local train shows (only two per year) I always ask, but no one has a clue what I am talking about.
Yes, I could make one for the layout, but I love old toys, so it would be a bonus if I could find one of the original kits.
