Hey everybody,

I came across a nice MTH Amtrak SW9 switcher for sale on eBay, and i got into quite the bidding war with someone, but they beat me out. I just couldn't go high enough comfortably.

So, i figured I'd try asking here.

I thought i read somewhat recently in another post that someone had one, but i can't find the particular post.

Anyway, the product number of the switcher I am looking for is 30-2438-1

And here is a picture:

Hi Gordon,

Allan Miller from the OGR magazine had one a couple weeks ago. Here is an email I received from him:

"Here are the MTH Amtrak products I have:

30-4204-1, F40 Diesel engine with PS2 and three Amfleet coaches

30-2438-1, Amtrak SW-9 Switcher with PS2

Asking $300 for all five items (2 engines and 3 cars), plus actual shipping

Engines have been test run only, otherwise all are new in box.
