New member who finally decided to sign up for this forum... Thanks for reading my WTB post!

Anyway... My MTH A Class articulated with PS1 is finally emitting the infamous "3 clangs of death." I'm aware that using the reset chip can fix the issue, but since these are long out of production, I'm not having any luck finding one or locating a nearby repair person who still has one and can perform the reset procedure. Thought I'd give this a try before I give up and start looking into a complete upgrade to another sound system.

Does anyone out there have a reset chip he/she is willing to sell? Heck, I'd even be willing to just rent it from you. It's item number 50-1023 . If you're near the Atlanta area and could help, even if you're not willing to sell, I'd be grateful and would gladly pay for the service.

Thanks in advance if you can help me out!

I appreciate the heads up! I actually signed up for a “pre-order” for the item through Train World not long ago, but I didn’t find anything else about it. I figured it was too good to be true and was probably glitch in the system.

Awesome to hear they are re-releasing them after all! Kind of shocking to see that they are supporting such an old product, actually.
