If you're looking for contemporary tinplate, you simply cannot go wrong dealing with Al and Libby at Sidetrack Hobbies. I have bought from them frequently in the past, and even placed an order with them again as recently as yesterday. The tinplate market--talking about contemporary items from MTH (Tinplate Traditions and LCT, as well as some fairly recent Lionel Classics product) is getting very thin these days, so if there's something special you are looking for, and you want it in new condition, this is the time to get the wallet out.
