SantaFeJim - As Mark says you've got a fabulous layout and I try and watch all of your videos (whenever I see them posted) but there's something I've always found strange.  Although your layout appears to be very proto-typical I don't recall ever hearing you blow the horns of your beautiful diesels, even at grade crossings like two of the videos posted today; and am wondering if there's a logical reason as to why you don't?  Just curious Jim - that's all. Good catch.  The reason I am not blowing the horns or ringing the bells is I am busy taking the videos.  I film them with my iPad which requires two hands.  I will be posting videos tomorrow showing four trains running simultaneously.  Again I will be doing the filming.

Tune in tomorrow to see  “Busy Day on the Santa Fe.”

SantafeJim: Awesome videos. I counted 26 reefers in one train and another 4 or 5 in a shorter train! Lots of traffic. Wondering what radius track you have on your layout. The passenger train is terrific and the cars track well. Are they scale?

pennseynut -

I am pleased that you enjoyed the videos.

My curved track radius is 38" - 42" on the main lines.  All turnouts are #8 and YES, all the engines and rolling stock are scale.  HO SCALE.
