I have two scale Santa Fe 4-8-4 Northern engines for sale. Both have been upgraded to DCS PS3 with separate tender and boiler boards. A full premier harness supports individual control of all functions rather than the limited control of a standard upgrade kit.
- The 3rd rail engine has phenomenal details, and the sound is outstanding with the brass tender. By far my most detailed engine, it has a few defects that are reflected in my asking price. First, there’s some handling damage to the bell chord stanchions. Second the rear wheels are slightly out of quarter. This is not evident on straight sections, but pronounced on curves. Asking

While not as detailed as the brass version, the brawn of the large engine and eight wheel tender trucks is an impressive sight. The original tether is reused with an additional two wires added for AC connections to look like hoses. All lights are replaced with LEDs and a brand new smoke unit is installed. Asking

For weathered engines, I have two proper examples:
- I have a MTH 20-3374-1 NYC L-3c Mohawk engine previously owned and weathered by Rich Battista, and I purchased off OGR in March 2017. I don’t remember which, but it can be seen in either DVD I or II of the Black Diamond Railway Video Series. I have run the engine sparsely since owning, and included some pictures originally taken on his layout and one in mine. The weathering was done with powder, and a portion is included for touch up. $600now sold - I also have an MTH Western Maryland GE 44 toner with PS3 20-20467-1. I had this weathered by airbrush based on photos of similar engines. I recently had the board replaced by a local shop, so it’s like new in that regard. Asking
