Peter's post is correct regarding general admission for non-TCA members.

However, the answer is actually NO.  You can attend one time as a guest of the TCA.  All halls (member and dealer) are open to you.  Here is a link to the Eastern Division's York Train Meet Guest Registration.

The TCA sees opening up the meet to guests as being a recruitment tool for the organization.  It worked for me! I went in 2019 as a guest of the TCA, came home and joined.

No, but there is a restriction........there is Friday/Saturday admission that is restricted to the Dealer Halls  for nonmembers.

There are two ways for a non-member to attend...  As @Putnam Division correctly noted, attending as a member of the general public will limit you to the dealer halls.  The better option is what @jd-train mentioned, assuming that you haven't attended as a guest before, since you can visit all of the halls.  Or even better, join TCA and you won't have to worry about it.

Today has been about the slowest day in history for me. I woke up late, went food shopping late, and things just kept me still and relaxed I guess you could say. So, what is one to do when they are stuck in this time of being slowed down? Well how about finally get their hotel reservations for York in? Yup, finally got it done. Besides getting that done, the most I have done today(besides food shopping) was go and get the mail down the long driveway. It will be great to get out to York and breathe in the air once again. To see everyone that I usually see at York(if my eyes are open and looking). Just to get in a show like we should.

The main concentration for my trip out to York is to try and find that elusive Dreyfuss Hudson that always seems to get away(provided I don't get it at the Edison show in August). Whatever that happens with that, whether I find it or don't, rest assured it will be great to have York again.

Only thing left for me to do is put in for the vacation which shouldn't be a problem.

I would always put in for the York dates in January. Never was a problem with my last Boss; until Wednesday before I was planning to be in York on Thursday! In 2016 he called me (at York, on vacation) and told me he expected me at the plant (Richmond, Va) in 15 minutes. I told him it would take me 15 minutes just to get to my car. He was ****ed. By the time I made it back, the problem was already resolved.

Yeah, just started with this company in April since my last job told all of us we were out of one. I doubt there will be any trouble getting these days. I have to tell my boss today so they are in. I think after I finish what I am working on.

What would have happened had you been on vacation in Hawaii or overseas?

In other words, what part of "on vacation" don't you understand?

With the new recommendations for wearing masks in certain areas in PA what are the ramifications for the York meet.

If things get worse we may go to another lockdown.

Earlier today, Gov. Wolf said that he does NOT favor or foresee another lockdown due to the availability of the vaccines. In addition, he stated that he does not favor having to show proof of vaccination to enter any venue (similar to what is happening in NYC). I’m not sure if the spread rate in York merits recommendation to wear a mask, but I always wear one when inside, especially in crowded settings, and will continue to do so out of safety for others as well as myself. Keep in mind, that the Fair Grounds can set their own rules, but I remain hopefuf for October.

Hope you stapled him to his desk.

Let  me put it this way: If you made or make hotel reservations for the Oct. York Meet, make sure you make them with an establishment where you can cancel 24 hours in advance and/or receive a refund if you were charged when making the reservation. The policies for a lot of hotels nationwide were changed/revised due to COVID, so double check just to protect yourself (and your money).
