I am not there yet, but almost everyone I work with John is way younger than me. Great people to boot. I can't ask for anything more than that. I guess that makes me the old man at work, even though I'm not the oldest.

Norm is there, so he's not that much of a youngin, though I don't know how old he is, probably younger than me maybe, or close to my age. Maybe you can get Norm to work scenery on your layout?

@Dave NYC Hudson PRR K4 the room was packed! This was our first attempt at this type of event so we will work to polish and add things to it for the next show. Met a lot of great folks and gave away some fun door prizes!

We will need some working microphones and a bigger room for next year!

Thank you to all who attended and a special thanks to the LCCA, METCA and Trainz.com for the giveaways! And of course, thank you to the Eastern TCA for giving us the room and the opportunity to try something new!

Sounds great, I can't wait to see pictures and or videos if any were able to be shot.

You definitely don't want to use me as a microphone. The other day at work they were trying to get someone speeding away, I called their name, they heard. Nah, no steam whistle Dave loudness.

Hopefully next year works well for me and I'm able to attend. I'm going to see about getting to Allentown in a few weeks so I can at least see a few folks I have seen there before. I can't wait.

Great job, and thanks for putting it on.

There were several interesting questions, and I gained some insight into the whole YouTube process.  It was nice to see so many younger folks in attendance.

I rarely stick around for Saturday (along with many others), but I stayed just to attend this meeting and I'm glad I did.  That said, considering the added expense of staying an extra day, I'm hoping you'll consider moving future meetings to Friday.  As big as the crowd was, I bet it would have been double had it been on Friday.

Last October it was great to talk with Sean, Jason, and Chris during my time at York. I had always wanted to run into Jason and tell him how cool his old layout was. Since moving, he is working on his new one which will be incredible to say the least. Chris and Sean's layout are pretty darn cool too.

Norm's layout is off the hook as they say, you do several double takes to see if you are looking at a model or the real deal. I haven't met Norm or Eric, would be a good thing.

Eric's layout is just insane how big it is all throughout his basement. I think he has made it so he hasn't overdone each scene to overcrowd it. Each room has just what it needs to complete the effect of where it is supposed to be. I haven't had a chance to view quite a few of his videos lately. I know he had been slowly working on the Carolina rooms water effects and some other details last I saw.

Some good young blood to keep the hobby rolling. As a note, these aren't the only young ones to mention, as a few of their good buddies are also young and out there.
