Z Stuff Point-to-Point Trolley Controller

I'm running a MTH PS1 Brill Trolley and am installing DZ 1240 controller for point-to-point operation. Does anyone have experience with this controller? The directions leave a lot to be desired, and I'd love to chat with someone who has this set up.

Additionally, the trolley I'm using has a Pittsburg sound file, and although It gives me pleasure annoying my Raven's enthralled son with the Pittsburg city announcements, I'd love to get a Baltimore City Brill as a counterpoint. The MTH 30-2566-1 would be ideal. Anyone got one they'd like to part with?
