Trains 69 of October 5 and train 68 of October 6 had Amtrak's only dome car in the consist, as well as Dover Harbor and NYC 43. Of course I accepted the conductor's offer to go up and see the car. For OGR Members who may never have been in a full-length dome, it is a treat!  Now I see why the passengers my grandson and I added to my full-length domes look so happy.

That is cool. And all those 1/50 scale people look great! Oh, wait ... They have all their feet, too! :-) But seriously, there's lots of head and foot room in the real thing. Are the aisles as skinny as they look?  Makes me want to catch a ride on our local commuter rail (MBTA) and check out the dome cars they've added to their consists lately, but nothing full-length like this. Really nice and that light blue Amtrak china shown in another post would fit right in on one of those tables.
