In the 2013 Lionel Christmas Catalog, page 6, they have listed both the transformer version, 6-31960, and LionChief version, 6-30218, of the Polar Express train sets. Both list the length of the sets as 63 3/8", with the dimensions as 40"x60". They have eight O-36 curves, three 10" straights, and on terminal track. So far so good.
Now the confusing part. In the Lionel 2013 Ready-to-Run catalog, page 30, is listed the LionChief Polar Express train set, 6-30218 (same as above). The length is also listed as 63 3/8", BUT the dimensions are listed as 40"x50". In addition the set comes with eight O-36 curves, but only one 10" straight, and one terminal track.
So the question is this, does set 6-30218 come with one piece of 10" straight or three pieces, with the set being 40x50 or 40x60?
