Looking for a motor mount for a MTH Railking 4-6-6-4

Bill, did you ever find this part.  I have a 4-8-8-4 Big Boy that needs this same part. The original part just disintegrated.  I have no idea what could have caused this part to fail!  MTH parts does not have this part in stock and they don't know if they ever will get any in the future.  If you have a source, can you please share it with me?  Thanks very much.

Dumb question - Did MTH use a universal mount? See Photo. Maybe you can use one from a diesel or even a non-powered unit.

Has to be steam with twin vertical  motors.

Marty, thanks for the reply.  I have only one MTH locomotive, this 4-8-8-4 Big Boy, so I can't compare it to any other ones.  But, I did guess that the motor mounting block was unique to this type of drive.

Do you know where I can purchase one of these?  Any help in chasing one down will be greatly appreciated.

That needs to come from MTH.

I checked with MTH and they have none in stock.  (I checked with them first.) The lady I talked to said that they don't know if they will ever get any more of them.

I really can't understand what happened to the original part.  It just started to crumble and fall apart.  The second one looks fine.  Very disappointing. 

Do you have any pictures?  I may have a mount.

I have never run into that on a mount.  That is a part that never shows up without a motor.   Someone has one with bad electronics somewhere.  Finding it is another story.   Can you take a picture of the good one and send it to me?  I have an idea.   I know a guy who knows a guy.  I will give it a shot for you.
