Hi, had this since day one. Opened it, set it up to test and put it away. Never really had a place for it so all these years it has been boxed. At the time it smoked extremely well.

This evening I decided to take it out and give it life again. The door switch was hanging up and gave me some issues but I was able to correct that.

However I noticed that the smoke unit isn't working, (yes the switch is on)

So my question is, does anyone know how big the chamber is in this thing ? I don't know if I need to add more oil to prime it or it already has enough and any more will over fill it and cause a mess and or other issues. I put at least 50 to 60 drops into it. Basically about a half inch of the mega smoke filler tube three times.

Any input would be appreciated . Thanks

Someone told me to take it apart and apply voltage directly to the smoke unit, for testing. If the element gets hot, it still works, if not, you may have too much fluid in there.

It may be drowned. Page 7 of the Instruction Manual shows dis-assembly and fixes. You may need a new wick carefully arranged.

One tip that has been around for a while.

" the rubber smoke tube is too long and tends to get crimped. Trimming off about 1/8" with a sharp scissors usually fixes that problem."

Can you hear the motor and feel air moving? Smell anything burned?

Have had two MTH smoking accy's where the blower cage came loose from the motor shaft and quit spinning, burned the wick big time really fast.

Lots of running sounds so not sure if I hear the fan but I don't feel it either.

Smell a bit of the oil, but don't see any and don't smell anything burnt.

UPDATE, Checked & the Hose is fine.

I tried blowing into the oil fill and it basically manually did what the fan is supposed to do. So I guess because that worked the smoke unit is fine but the fan is not.
