My NYC Heavyweight Passenger cars do not have diaphragms in between the cars.It makes the cars look ridiculously far apart.Is this something that can be installed?Does anyone know if they are available or where?Do they just get glued on?Thanks in advance for your help.Sorry yes they are Lionel.Nick

You forgot to mention what brand the NYC cars are, Lionel, MTH, K-Line, Atlas, Weaver or Williams.

With K-Line the rubber diaphragms would wear out and need replacing after four years or so.
