It would be a long, long trip from deep in S. GA to York, but I intend to go in the Fall. My question is: Is there an onsite area for small (16 ft.) self-contained (no sewage, water, electricity required) egg style camper? If water, power are available, that's OK, I'll take it. OK without.

If so, I presume reservations are necessary. Also, to whom would the reservation request be directed ?

A relative 'newbie' on the forum....

Any info. will be helpful.

Thanks,

Jeff

Showers are $.50 for 4 minutes of water. I found them to be good enough, and the setup worked out fine.

Mike...I think you got that wrong...I pay 40.00 and that includes water and electric...at least I think so ? my wife pays it for me and I don't ask...I have camped there the last 3 Yorks.

Hmmmm....that's the way I understood it. If the electric came with the fee I'll be bummed, since I could have had a faster phone charger (and maybe a small heater)

Yes Mike you were entitled to electric for the 40.00 you paid...

I saw you walk right by my camper door on Thursday...I was on the phone with my mother at the time (my father took a spill last week) and she was complaining about his situation so I couldn't call out to you...I figured I would see you later but it didn't happen...

I was going to suggest that you bunk with me in my camper,I had plenty of room and the dinette folds into a nice size bed....Quite frankly I don't know how you stood the wind and the cold in that tent...I give you a lot of credit !
