Purchased this through the NYC Historical Society... The book takes you on a photographic journey from Grand Central to Albany and beyond along the Central’s Water Level Route through an amazing collection of photograph. A couple of years ago, the same author published a “companion” volume covering the Harlem Line and the Old Put. Gotten about half way through, and I’m very happy with my purchase!!!

Paul that's the east side of the Hudson, correct? It's two tracks now but wasn't 4 in the NYCs prime?
