Yep, you were probably overloading the power supply on the Super-Chuffer. I thought the instructions were pretty clear on the headlight requirement.

You can connect the LED for the main headlight and then just connect any other lights to the Cruise board. That way you get the Rule-17 lighting, and still can power the other lights.
