I 100% agree about the nasty silver or gray smoke box paint. But, I’m not confident enough in my painting skills to paint a brand new $1500 engine. So, unless there is some sort of guarantee ahead of time that the proper graphite color will be used, I’m going to sit this one out.

Yea that. What really has me giving the Hudson second thoughts is it going to have the parting line going right down the middle on top of the engine. Oh boy .
