Reply to "MTH scale wheel coupler question"

After doing a little research it seems like going with the kadee 740 series couplers would be better then the 804 or 805 couplers and gear draft boxes. Would I be right in thinking the 745 coupler and gear box would be what I need or should I go with a longer shank untill I can get O-72 curves?
