Here’s the item numbers you need. The brush plate assy includes the spring if you choose it. The brushes are the shunt type. The wire gets soldered to the brush holder.
There a trick to oiling the top of the armature shaft. Unscrew the .050 Allen screw. Put a drop of oil in the hole. Replace the Allen screw till just makes contact with the armature shaft. Usually back the Allen screw out approx 1/4 turn. You should now be able to use your thumb to move the wheels which will spin the armature.
