Always wanted a scale MTH GG1. I have 0-54 and some 0-72's. Would this engine de-rail itself from the 0-54 curve?

MTH says Premier GG1 runs on 072. I never tried it but asking an 072 engine to run on 054 seems a little much.

I have run mine through an 060 crossover without issues but never at speed. It looks really uncomfortable and very tight. I do not think that it will make it on 054 without derailing.
Buy the Williams scale GG1 and upgrade it to PS/3, it'll do O42 curves.

That's the route I took. Then made a loop that was 0-72...... Make the layout changes (If you can) and get the MTH.
It looks like a semi-scale going thru 0-27, but yeah, the Scale MTH GG1 will operate on 0-54.

I can second this. It will do it, but I doubt it could do an S-curve with O-54 back to back. Don't try O-42... sparks. Lots of sparks.
