I am running the WiFi in home mode.  I establish the connection to all my trains (3) by using the new mode.  I shutdown the system turning off all power.  When I turn up my system again the trains that were active are now in inactive mode.  However, although they are listed in the inactive mode I can not get them back into the active mode unless I delete all of them and then re-establish them via the New Mode.  Has everyone else experienced this.  I also noticed that the Boost and Brake do not work properly.  If you use the brake feature, it slows down the train however it reverts back to the original speed after removing the touch from the screen.

Bob,

When I turn up my system again the trains that were active are now in inactive mode.  However, although they are listed in the inactive mode I can not get them back into the active mode unless I delete all of them and then re-establish them via the New Mode.

Is it possible that the engine's batteries are dead and they're not remembering their DCS ID#'s, which may have been changed when they were previously loaded into the DCS APP?

When this happens, are you able to access them with a DCS Remote at the time that the app cannot access them?

I also noticed that the Boost and Brake do not work properly.  If you use the brake feature, it slows down the train however it reverts back to the original speed after removing the touch from the screen.

If memory serves me correctly, that's the same way it works with the DCS Remote.

After successfully running the trains, I powerdown the system.  After powering up the previously active trains are now in the in-active state and I cannot get them back into the active state.  If I use the dcs remote I am able to start and run all of the trains even though the wifi says they are inactive.

Regarding the boost and brake modes:  when using them on the dcs remote, when you press the brake mode the train slow down by the rate specified in the "DEC" parameter and the trains remain at the new rate.  Likewise,  the boost works the same way.  Boost it up by the "ACC" rate and it stays at the new rate.
