Does anyone have wiring diagrams for the American Flyer 5318 HO engine? The "E" unit has a relay and not sure how to wire it up or what it is used for.
Thanks,

How about a photo of what you have. What is the E unit? What Kind of motor in the locomotive? Talk to you later.
Ed,
I don't have the wiring diagram you're looking for, but here are some sources to check with if you haven't already:
Curious design and approach. Reminds me of some prewar AF whistle baggage cars with a reverse unit in them -- for a whistle? Just the way they did things - for awhile anyway.
Good luck and let us know what you come up to solve the mystery. Thanks.
Dave
PS I have two AF HO steam engines for sale -- PRR 433 0-6-0 slope back, and NYC 443 Hudson.
Dave,
Thanks for the info and I will pass along the info about the HO engines for sale. I will try to contact Dale and see what he can help me with.
Dennis,
Thank you very much for the info as this is extremely helpful and I agree with you it is not the 151.

Dennis,
Bullseye. Great info and diagrams. From whence does it come? Web site? Book? Thanks.
Dave
There is a guy named ho seeker that has posted a truckload of info as in manuals and catalogs for mfrs from A to Z. I saved it long ago since I also have the prewar loco.
