Automobiles/ Trucks 1/43-1/50 scale let’s see them

Gene, I remember the seltzer guy delivering with the glass squirt bottles in wooden flats, and Neal the peddler who brought fresh produce in his truck with a roll up side, but no milkman or Dugans.  My uncle had a Charles Chips guy deliver to him.

fl9turbo2. I like that Barber Green Asphalt paver and the bridge pic.Been in front of many of those pavers I was a dump trucker in my younger days waiting to turn 21 so I could drive over the road. Been driving now for 30yrs.

Great stuff guys! I had 2 posts complimenting @fl9turbo2 on his police sub and construction vehicles and @lee drennen on his piggybacks(about which I have some questions!) but I wanna get this post in quick.

Actually, funny one first. Was digging thru storage one night and found this undersized Lionel Dunkin Doughnuts tractor trailer. Apparently got it as a kid

K-line UP trailer with APL tractor and chassis. Very nice piece, imo. Love the logo and chassis and can look great too

I’ve been wanting a chassis for my 40’ k-line containers so I got this guy too mainly for the tractor and chassis.

Posted the Scania 143m can awhile ago- here’s the tanker it goes withfrom the “esso collection”. Unfortunately, haven’t been able to find what scale these were

Thought i’d add some comparison shots of different tractors /cabs for people’s reference. From left to right: Scania 143m, K-line Reading Transport Heavy Hauler, K-line NYC cab, APL cab, and a tootsietoy kenworth that I use with the silver chassis. All cabs compatible with all trailers in the next picture

Comparinf different trailers: L to R- Esso tanker, K-line Heavy Hauler(about 38’ in scale), K-line worldwide intermodal 40’ trailer/containers, atlas 45’ pines trailer.

Was able to move the Sealand trailer off the flat it was on and put it on the K-line silver chassis.

More to come(hopefully tonight) if some new cars I got this weekend. Got some great deals on all of them. Here’s a teaser picture- 1/43 Scale 1958 Buick convertible by Vitesse!

At least the sunshines on this farm truck ... early morning at the produce depot.

I came across a delightful hot dog pushcart from Arttista (#9002), but I couldn't place it on my NYC subway layout until I NY-citified it with a Sabrett umbrella and a "we serve Sabrett onions in sauce" sign on it. 😁

Here’s an update on my 1960s coal hauler...I spliced a second rear axel/frame/spring pack to this White 3000. A pair of new fuel tanks and a scratch built coal dump bed round out the major surgery.  I’m working out how I’m going to add all the lights. I’m leaning towards an Evans Designs remote system with fiber optics under the coal load; we’ll see!

Well here is my latest restomod. A corgi Toronado. Came in a blue color, not in too bad of shape, but I still wanted to do a full restoration. There was a big blemish on the passenger door, and the pop up headlights were chrome, which I never really liked so I painted them body color. Something new I tried, painted the turbine style wheels body color as well, then followed up with silver. I think it makes the wheels really POP. Here’s the before and after.You can see the wheels the best in the last photo.

Hope you like it, was not as much work as the Ambulance, but it turned out pretty sharp.

Very nice color choice. I definitely remember new Toronados in that color.

Took a few pic yesterday evening after moving some vehicles around.
