Anyone here built, kitbashed or bought an O gauge version of the 0-4-0T dinky used by the Great Western Sugar Company? I would sure like to see a picture of your version.
GW used a number of their dinkies, O-4-0 and O-6-O, and l photographed several displayed outside their beet towers going NE out of Denver. I had custom GW decals done and have a couple relettered that l put on here, several years ago. I would probably have to reshoot if l can't find photos.
Well, at least one of the GW's dinkies was originally built for 3 foot gauge but rebuilt after it was bought by GW. So I guess that Grandt Line kit could be considered somewhat prototypical. I was kind of playing around with an idea for a Christmas train for next year, but I would like to see how tight a circle the thing could actually use.
