Has Anyone Considered This For S Scale?

Nice looking depot.  It certainly looks a bit undersized for O.

Another way to judge is by the figures near the doors.  Even accounting for perspective the doors seem undersized.

It's be a good depot for some S Scaler modeling the southwest, though.

I agree with Rusty:  Looks fine for S scale as-is.  WAY too small for O scale.  Replace that Lionel squish-window F with an SHS or AM F unit and watch the realism factor for the station go up significantly.

IMO, it looks just about spot on for S scale.  I have to say, given that these are specifically made for O scale, that I too am surprised at how undersized they are.  IIRC, these stations are quite expensive, are they not?

Yep.  The Albuquerque Station is $1527.00 plus shipping.

I saw this at York. It looks great! I did not notice the size, and no trains were near it. I would double-check your observations with the builder (I believe they are taking orders for a very limited production run).
