Hi Kevin,

Thank YOU!

The best way to find out "behind the scenes" activity is to join my Traindame data base as we wait until the i's are dotted and t's are crossed before it goes up on our website. You can email me your name/email to dorcie@traindame.com and I'll happily add you to my mailing list and you'll receive TrainWorx updates, offers and news.

Nice work. I think you guys do a fantastic laser and lamination work.

I keep thinking I'd like to cut an O scale version of the San Bernardino ATSF/UP Depot, but the time and materials cost is astronomical. A guy built one for H.O. and an O scale version would have been around $5,000. An O scale model would be about 11 feet long. I have the drawings just in case I suddenly have the time and resources to build it.

Hi Lee,

Thank you!

I understand the challenge with fitting these stations on existing layouts and always offer up the suggestion to display them on their own...could be a shelf, desk, or pedestal. Of course, we could help you design/build an additional area for the expansion of your awesome railroad

Have an excellent week ahead.

Hi Matt,

That's the challenge with doing a "scale" model of any of these landmark structures in "O" gauge. As you mentioned scale models of these huge structures become enourmous in 1/4" scale.

That's the beauty of what Roger and the TrainWorx Traingineers are doing with our Landmark Series. The goal is to capture the essence of the look of each of the stations/terminals at the same time using architectural compression of the largest structure elements to reduce the footprint to a more manageable "O" gauge or even toy train experience. In this way, we are creating a structure that "looks like" a Pennsy Station, Grand Central Terminal, Chicago Union Station, or Albuquerque without being a "scale" model.

Thanks for the picture, I know this station is on Roger's list of ones to do - it's a long list

Have an excellent week!

Dorcie, Would you ask Roger what he plans to use for lighying on this station. The reason I ask is because of the time period that you are modeling. I know that sometimes you use LED'S BUT MAYBE this model could be considered for the Grain of Wheay lights which give off a far older look. Thank you for considering it.

Our Albuquerque Station will be revealed at the Fall York Show at which time I'll have all the specifications and no doubt will have an *Absolutely Ridiculous **Steal-of-a-deal offer to take advantage of!

Here are some shots of the finished station - enjoy!

Wow..I am a fan of and a builder of large buildings...grain elevators and stamp mills,

but even though I have a desert town with adobe structures, I can't justify this large

a city station for my short line, small town theme.  I am guessing this kit is going to

cost a few more shillings than that for a milk station platform on the Ma & Pa?

However, do a model of the Gold Prince Mill at Animas Forks, Colo., so I don't have

to scratch build it, and I will take out a second mortgage.

Dorcie,

What a beautiful station!

*Absolutely Ridiculous **Steal-of-a-deal offer..........well you have peaked my interest.  Hopefully this steal of a deal won't be a for-York-attendees-only deal!  Look at it this way, the money I won't be spending on food, lodging, fuel, and trains will be used to purchase this station.  It's a win-win.

Okay, seriously, I do look forward to more details about this station.

The lighting we're going to use for our Albuquerque Station is:

LED Silicon Embedded Warm White - UL Listed 12V DC - with 110/120V plug In transformer.

I'll be sending out an email VERY soon with my Absolutely Ridiculous Traindame *Steal-of-deal Offer and not wanting to break any OGR Forum posting rules...NO SELLING! What me???? I will not be posting Alb Station pricing here.

Dorcie,

Just received your email.  Your "**Ridiculously Crazy, BEST PRICE EVER OFFERED, Fall York **Steal-of-a-deal Special" is aptly named!  $1357 SHIPPED is an excellent price!  That is less than the Grand Central Terminal you produced for Lionel back in 2009!

So.....While I did not get my Ginsu Knife set.....I am still very excited about this purchase.

I look forward to this station gracing my layout in December!

thank you
