right now i'm on my computer watching videos of people playing with their trains and now i really want to play with all my trains tomorrow. make a massive track and everything in my bedroom floor. but being a 150 lb inactive person with cerebral palsy is a very big challenge. it physically hurts to crawl around on the hardwood floor of my tiny bedroom and i can only take one train to my church but i want to go crazy and play with all my trains at the same time like a kid again.

another issue is my transformer does not have advanced curcuit protection and i have 2 lionchief engines

i need a new transformer would one of those old railking ones work?

While I do not share your biggest challenges, I can understand where you are coming from. My issues with getting up and down from the floor comes from being 69 and having had two full knee replacements. Actually, getting down is fairly easy, it’s the getting up that is an adventure. Before I built my layout (and found this forum), I used to set up track on the dining room floor and used one of my venerable Post-War ZW’s for power. I managed to fry a TMCC board. One of the OGR Backshop videos showed me how to add fast acting circuit breakers to protect my engines, and it has saved me from numerous disasters, so adding some sort of protection for your engines is very important. Sooooo… back in December of 2022, I purchased a small Lionel CW-80 transformer (1908080) for a Christmas project that never happened, so it has been sitting on a shelf gathering dust ever since. According to Lionel’s website for the CW-80, it is good for all forms of LionChief engines and it has built in circuit protection. So, if you can use it, I’d be glad to send it to you - my email is in my forum profile, so just send me an address to ship it to.

Well, I can’t answer for the trains, but the transformer is free if you’d like it.
