Does anyone know where I can find the electro coupler replacements for K-line E8 series engines that have the TMCC installed? Cat. # K-28901H. Looking for part numbers and any instructions.
The K-Line engines originally came with mechanical couplers on the each of the A units. Within the instruction booklet it mentions these can be replaced with TMCC controlled electro couplers. I did some searching, but not sure what is the right coupler and if there is additional mounting parts (springs, clips, etc.) that need to be installed. I have not contacted Lionel yet. I thought I would ask here first.
The part numbers I ran across are K2400EC, K2438-X020, etc. I did find a Lionel part number, but I think this coupler is too long (2 inches).
