I’m currently looking for a new or like new #995 LEGACY Module Garage (Lionel 6-24293). Please contact me if you are interested in selling yours or know of a posting online. Thanks.

Original Post

It was never built, cancelled shortly after announcement. There have been a couple threads here with some rather innovative alternatives

I don't believe these were ever made.

I did this instead..  Holds 40 modules.

CNC cut MDF kit you can finish yourself is available for $20 + shipping.

For $20, Charlie's kit is a good deal.  What I use now though is a ZipLoc bag that hangs from a hook above my workbench.  I don't have very many modules though.

CNC = Computer Numerical Control

In this case a CNC router I would guess.

You can take a Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawing and using Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM) software generate or program a tool path from the drawing.

The CNC router then follows the program.

I have one!!! It's great. Have the stand in orange and the legacy modules holder in blue. It's a great price for what you get. Ed P.

Charlie:

          Could you please tell me where you got the gauges, I'm assuming they are volt or amps? Thanks.

          Mel

I got one of these from Charlie and finished it. I limited the modules to 25 (small layout) and I can use the remaining 15 in a portable way for going to train meets.

I've got myself moved and settled in temporary quarters waiting for the house to be completed.

I'll let you know when I have these available again.  All those that have emailed, I have your emails and will get back with you soon.

I must have bought the last 3 or clese to it. They are well worth the 20 bucks each

I've got about 75 modules, now I don't need to access them often but every once in a while I need a particular one and a sack of them is a pain the butt to dig through
