I am a beginner so please be kind.  That said, I have two CW80 transformers with a MTH twelve pole power terminal hooked up to each. I have track power and two o36 remote switches only connected to one and on the other four small lighted buildings a water tower, uncoupling track which all worked great.  Today I connected the two switches to my Acc transformer and the worked fine but now my loco will not run!  I get the blinking light and no power to the tracks.  I followed the directions perfectly....  what am I doing wrong!

Hi, I was wondering if perhaps the common and hot were reversed between the two transformers. But it sounds as though you have already checked that.

I think that ADCX Rob probably has the most likely idea, and that you may have some of the incorrectly wired switches.

If not, or if you don't wish to re-wire your switches, then I'd do as RickO suggests and leave them on track power.  Are you running TMCC/Legacy or even DCS? If so, then there really isn't any advantage in using accessory power in a command environment.

Save yourself some frustration and take the time to remove the switch covers from the back and check the wiring as ADCX rob posted. This would give you the exact issue that you are experiencing.

Follow the advice given here. I did, and have no switch problems now.

Are you running in conventional or command mode?
